Our JourneyJuan grew up in Bogotá, Colombia and was blessed with the opportunity to grow up in a Christian home, son of a Colombian pastor and church planter. Juan received Christ at a young age, but did not truly live out his faith and commit to following Christ until he was eighteen. Juan served the Lord in multiple functions in the church for more than 13 years before he was called to full time ministry in 2010 and 2013 Juan was ordained as the associate pastor of the church that his family planted.

Juan's GraduationJuan studied for four years at the Baptist Seminary of Colombia and was able to transfer some of those credits to Theological Seminary of Central America (SETECA) which is where he graduated in 2018. During the last few years of theological training they began to pray for the city of Medellin and asked the Lord to open up doors for them to begin a church planting ministry there. Through God's leading and by His powerful and perfect timing they are excited to finally pursue a church planting ministry in the outskirts of Medellin, called Envigado Colombia.

Melissa's JourneyMelissa got saved at a young age and at the age of sixteen committed herself to full-time ministry particularly to the mission field. As a single missionary Melissa was part of a Colombian church planting team for two years with Camino Global, until she met her husband Juan Santafe. Melissa started a children's outreach ministry called Xtreme Life. Xtreme Life was a program designed to target three different children groups, the church children, children from the community, and the local orphanage. This was an incredibly influential time in Melissa's life and helped her cultivate a passion for the Colombian people and to continue church planting efforts throughout Colombia.
